Since 2017, StockLive has supported the saleyard, seedstock, working dog, and equine sectors by providing cutting-edge technology to complement physical auctions and enhance the overall auction experience.
We are now excited to launch our new Commercial Sales Platform, designed by industry, for industry, to deliver efficiency for agents, cost-effectiveness for producers, and data integrity for buyers.
Upcoming sale dates are published online six weeks in advance.
StockLive operates with a staggered lot closing system. This means each lot closes individually with a specific closing time displayed on the listing once the sale is live.
Bid extensions apply on lots that attract strong competition, giving all buyers a fair opportunity to participate.
For convenience, you can also set a maximum bid – allowing you to “set and forget” while reducing the time you need to be actively involved in the sale.
StockLive is committed to supporting data integrity for vendors, agents, and buyers, ensuring trust and transparency across every transaction. As part of this focus on integrity within our commercial platform, users are required to be approved by StockLive.
For livestock to be listed on StockLive’s commercial platform, they must be assessed by a StockLive approved assessor. Our assessors are approved to independently assess livestock that are for sale.
Becoming an approved StockLive user involves a clear application and approval process to ensure consistency and integrity across all listings.
Complete the below forms and the StockLive team will be in contact to finalise your applications.
StockLive will approve an agency to operate within the commercial sales.
The listing agent is affiliated with a StockLive approved agency and is responsible for managing the sale listing and acts as the primary point of contact for vendors and buyers’ pre-sale and post-sale. This includes organising transport, arranging payments, and confirming reserve prices with vendors
An individual responsible for assessing livestock for sale. In some cases, the assessor can also act as the listing agent.
Completing an application may require insurance details, professional references, and evidence of recognised prior industry experience.
